CLEVELAND, OH – March 17, 2021 – Dix & Eaton announced today four new additions to the firm. Eliza Wing has joined as senior advisor; Vincent Dorsey as account executive; Kayla Pretzer as assistant account executive; and Daijha Thompson will also join the firm as assistant account executive following her internship and graduation from Syracuse University in May 2021.
As a senior advisor, Wing brings a broad range of C-suite experience. She served as the chief communications officer for Cuyahoga County from 2015 to 2020. She also was director for digital brands at American Greetings from 2013 to 2015, and was founder, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Cleveland.com from 1998 to 2010.

After successfully completing an internship at Dix & Eaton in 2020, Kayla Pretzer officially joined the firm as an assistant account executive in January 2021. She assists in the firm’s media relations efforts as well as research and analytics projects, social media and sustainability communications.
Vincent Dorsey also recently joined Dix & Eaton in March 2021 as an account executive after serving as a freelancer with the firm for several months. He works closely with the firm’s clients on messaging and content development related to sustainability, investor relations and corporate communications.
Daijha Thompson will officially join the firm as an assistant account executive on June 1, 2021, after graduation from Syracuse University. While currently serving as an intern, Daijha assists clients in the areas of media relations, sustainability communications, corporate communications and research.

ABOUT ELIZA WING
Eliza joined Dix & Eaton in March 2021 as a senior advisor. As the founding editor and former chief executive officer of Cleveland.com, she has more than 20 years of experience in the digital media space. In 2015, she became the chief communications officer of Cuyahoga County where she led the communications strategy for Ohio’s most populous county. Prior to joining the Budish administration, Eliza served as the director of digital brands for American Greetings.
Eliza started her career in New York City where she wrote and served in editorial positions for both New York Woman and Rolling Stone. Her family moved to Cleveland in 1994. She then went to work for Cleveland.com where she quickly rose from editor in chief to president and CEO.
Eliza graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in comparative literature.
ABOUT KAYLA PRETZER
After successfully completing an internship at Dix & Eaton in 2020, Kayla officially joined the firm as an assistant account executive in January 2021. Kayla has been heavily involved in media relations efforts, research and analytics projects, social media, and sustainability communications. She has experience with Google Analytics and Meltwater and supports the firm’s social media marketing.
Kayla graduated magna cum laude from The University of Akron with a dual degree in public relations and Spanish with a minor in marketing.
ABOUT VINCENT DORSEY
Vincent joined Dix & Eaton in March 2021 as an account executive after serving as a freelancer with the firm for several months. He now works closely with the firm’s clients on messaging and content development related to sustainability, investor relations and corporate communications. Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, Vincent served as a communications specialist with Forest City where he planned, wrote and executed content for internal and external audiences. He was also responsible for story generation and research.
Vincent graduated summa cum laude from The University of Akron’s Honors College with a dual degree in journalism and public relations. He also served as a news contributor and senior sports writer for the student newspaper. Vincent began his career as a high school sports content producer with WKYC-TV.
ABOUT DAIJHA THOMPSON
Following the successful completion of her spring internship, Daijha will officially join the firm as an assistant account executive in June 2021. Daijha has assisted with media relations, sustainability communications, and research projects for clients. Outside of client work, Daijha is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and will continue to support DE&I efforts within the firm.
Daijha will graduate summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a dual degree in public relations and political philosophy.
