THE SITUATION
Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) is a $201 billion asset regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The company approaches environmental, social and governance (ESG)with a purpose-focused strategy that leverages its economic impact and addresses ESG topics that have been identified as important to the company and its stakeholders.
THE STRATEGY & SOLUTION
Dix & Eaton has been Huntington’s ESG reporting partner since the 2018 ESG report. Our role includes strategic counsel, writing and editing, graphic design and project management services. Through the report, we help the company demonstrate its long-term commitment to be a catalyst for progress on economic and environmental sustainability and social impact. We include extensive data summaries, infographics, charts and sidebars to enable Huntington to tell a complete story in a compelling and clear manner.
The 2023 report includes a SASB Index, and in recent years, we have supported Huntington in the development of a standalone Climate Report. Previously integrated into the ESG report, the Climate Report enables Huntington to provide robust, cohesive disclosures around the company’s climate governance, strategy, risk management and metrics and targets.
