CLEVELAND, OH—August 30, 2023—Dix & Eaton announced a recent promotion within its professional staff, along with three key additions to the firm. Daijha Johnson has been promoted to senior account executive. Theresa Gutierrez and Jake Watroba have joined the firm’s Sustainability/ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) team and Stephanie Hering has joined its Creative team.
Daijha joined the firm in 2021 after graduating from Syracuse University. Since then, she has taken on a gradual increase in leadership and stewardship on a variety of initiatives, with a strong emphasis on media relations, research and ESG/sustainability initiatives.
“We are excited to announce the recent promotion of Daijha Johnson,” said Chas Withers, chairman and CEO of Dix & Eaton. “In a short period of time, she has gone above and beyond to provide high levels of client service and consistently bring a positive and solutions-oriented approach to her clients and colleagues. She has stood out for her growth, professionalism and performance across a wide variety of projects and programs, often complex and challenging in both scope and the high stakes at hand.”
Gutierrez, who serves as an assistant vice president specializing in content development and project management, has developed effective strategies for organizations of all sizes over her 25–year career. Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, she held corporate social responsibility and human resources leadership roles within the automotive, corporate aviation, information solutions and early childhood education sectors.
Watroba is passionate about helping clients communicate progress on their sustainability journey and brings a diverse background of business and environmental acumen to his role as senior account executive. Watroba’s previous experience includes creating sustainability reports for public and private companies, conducting materiality assessments and improving data collection and aligning analysis with various standards.
Hering joins the firm as a graphic designer following the completion of an extended internship in which she leveraged her creativity to help clients bring ideas to life through well-rounded, thoughtful design. She has already had the opportunity to partner with clients on sustainability reports, brand identity and logo design, advertising campaigns, corporate collateral and illustration.
“Adding the highest quality of professional capabilities to our team is obviously a priority for us as a firm,” said Withers. “We are committed to continually growing our team in their expertise while adding superlative talent that can further enhance our ability to stay ahead of trends while counseling clients at the highest levels.
