At this time of year when leaves are falling and the holiday season is just around the corner, it’s a great time to reflect on what we are grateful for. At Dix & Eaton, we are fortunate to celebrate the excellent talent in our organization and recognize the significant accomplishments of our outstanding team members.
Today, we announced the promotions of Angela Almasy and Nicolle Huffman to vice president; and Kayla Pretzer to account executive. All three do an amazing job of living our core values by being passionately collaborative, driven to make a difference and constantly thinking ahead and bringing insights to their clients and colleagues.
Here’s some background on three exceptional employees that we are honored to call colleagues.
Kayla Pretzer has been promoted to account executive after starting her career with us just as the COVID-19 pandemic sent us all home. Her integration was so smooth that in a very short time it felt like she had been a colleague for years. Kayla brings a can-do attitude to everything she does. Her growth in so many areas including media relations, marketing, social media, analytics and crisis communications has not only been impressive, but highly valuable to clients. She is a natural with great instincts and we are so happy to have her on our team.
Angela Almasy has been promoted to vice president. What I admire most about Angela is her tenacity, focus and perseverance. Angela joined Dix & Eaton seven years ago while making a shift in her career where she focused on food and nutrition communications. She has quickly become a passionate and trusted voice in our national
Sustainability/ESG practice and continues to grow her many leadership qualities. A travel enthusiast, her love of adventure comes across in her can-do attitude and commitment to providing superb client service.
Nicolle Huffman has been promoted to vice president. Nicolle joined us seven years ago after a successful corporate communications career. She is one of those rare individuals that shows up every day with a smile on her face, a positive attitude and ready to tackle any challenge. Nicolle always has a point of view on the pulse of the organization because we all seek her advice and counsel on matters ranging from professional client service to personal issues. She is a cherished friend and colleague, and we are fortunate to have such talent on our team.
As we move toward the end of 2021 and into a new year, we could not be happier or more grateful to have these talented colleagues on our team. Kayla, Angela and Nicolle, thank you for bringing it every single day. You make us proud to call you colleagues and friends. Congrats!
