With 20 years of experience in strategic communications, Kellie Friery works closely with senior leadership teams to leverage communications to drive value for their organizations. Kellie is a cross-functional leader that partners with team members across the enterprise to help develop and implement tailored communications programs that drive engagement, transparency and long-term business success for our clients.
Kellie has extensive experience advising companies on critical communications initiatives, including initial public offerings, M&A transactions and corporate repositioning efforts. She has served as an embedded resource for clients, such as Covia, assisting with their corporate positioning, establishing the investor relations function for the newly public company and evolving the corporate communications function.
Kellie began her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP, where she developed a strong financial foundation that continues to shape her approach to communications strategy. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude, and previously earned her CPA designation (inactive). She is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the NIRI Senior Roundtable and is a regional director for the Notre Dame Women Connect national board.
